Welcome to Third Grade

I am so looking forward to teaching 3rd grade!  I love the curriculum AND the third grade child.  We are going to have so much fun while learning this year.  Multiplication facts are HUGE in third grade so we will be doing daily activities - songs, rhymes, contests, etc. - to get these facts down pat.  They are the foundation for all future math concepts and we want students to be strong in this area!  Students will also transition from being learning readers to readers that learn.  Science and Social Studies will also be very engaging as the third grade team plans to integrate lessons throughout the week!
