Mayor Terry Deese came and shared about his job as mayor to the 3rd graders. We have been talking about government in social studies. He talked about the citizens in our community and how they can vote on people and bring ideas to the town council to better Richfield.

The Richfield Misenheimer Fire Department came to Richfield to talk about fire safety. Students in grades K-2 were able to visit with the department and see the fire truck. We are very grateful for our Fire Department and appreciate them !

Richfield Elementary would like to congratulate, Mrs. Lori Roach as the Educator of Excellence. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Richfield Elementary, she was chosen amongst her peers by administration for demonstrating an excellence in service to children. On behalf of the staff and student of Stanly County Schools, we would like to say “Thank You!”
