I love being a Richfield Tiger!  I have been a certified teacher since January of 2007.  I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in December, 2006 with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  

I am married to Todd Burris and we have two daughters, Kaitlin and Kinsley.  Todd is retired from Frito-Lay.  He now works for NJR.  Kaitlin is an elementary school teacher in Durham County.  Kinsley is married to Eric Fore and they have 2-year old twins -- my beautiful grandsons, Austin and Jaxon.

I love all sports, but my favorite to watch is basketball.  Go Duke Blue Devils!!!  I enjoy traveling, reading, and being with family and friends.
