I would like to extend my prayers for the health and safety of all of you during this unprecedented time.  I will continue to check email and communicate with you during this time.  I will be available to try to answer any questions that you may have.  Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions or concerns about your child's work.  Please continue to check the Richfield Website and the Stanly County Schools website for the most current information.  

Good Morning!  I hope everyone is able to complete their first week packet this week.  If you would like to go ahead and give your child their letterland test this week that would be great.  I usually call out the word, use in a sentence, repeat word.  They will only have the words on List A for this week.  After calling out the words I would read the sentences to them.  I always read it as many times as they need me to.  If your child would like for me to see their test you can send it to me.  (email, phone)  Please put the test in the weekly packet and I will see it as soon as we return to school.  Thanks for all you are doing with your child during these challenging days!

 

I would encourage you to have your child work on Freckle (ELA) and Splashlearn (Math) if you have access to a computer, chromebook. etc.  These are the two apps that we use at school everyday.  The students use these on their own and the work is differentiated according to their level.  They usually spend 20 to 25 minutes each day focusing on these in stations.  Please let me know if you are not able to get on either one of these valuable resources.  I can see from home how they score, how long they work, and what they may need extra help on.  Please feel free to call or email with any questions.
